Today is the long awaited release of Brave from Pixar!
That's Princess Merida, the star of the show- and the first leading lady in a Pixar film!
Being a red head myself, I've always been a fan of Ariel. Now I think I'll have a co-favorite!
And even better, I think I have a real life version of some of the characters.
Here's Merida's brothers- they are triplets.
I found this description of them on the Pixar Wiki site-
"Identical triplets Harris, Hubert and Hamish are adorable, redheaded, and always ready to stir up a bit of mischief, especially if sweets are at stake. They can communicate wordlessly with their sly smiles, subtle glances and rascally giggles."
If they were to cast a real life version, or maybe a character to roam the parks... I don't think they could come any closer to my son! Not only did they catch his spirit- my son is always giggling, ornery, and making new girlfriends when we go out. What do you think?
Needless to say, I'm excited to watch Brave! Click the link, & you'll find what others are saying about the movie, and reviews.
From USA Today- Brave hits the target with Pixar's first female lead

From NY Daily News : Pixar’s ‘Brave’ effort brings a fine heroine and a functional story
