Looking for a couple new Disney apps? I've got that covered. If you are interested in Disney's upcoming Wreck It Ralph movie, or have plans on seeing it, then make sure you read this post all the way through! I also provide info on the latest official app for getting around the parks in Disney World.
Also, if you are interested in the new Fantasyland at Disney World- you're going to want to read on. You'll find the date for when Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid (this ride is amazing!), Ariels Grotto, the Be Our Guest restaurant, Gaston's Village, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Bounjour! Village Gifts will open.
Will it be open on your next visit?
The first app you'll want to get your hands on from the iTunes store is titled "Fix-It Felix Jr." and features the video game you'll find in Disney's Wreck It Ralph. I've seen the commercial about a thousand times during the Olympics- here it is again in case you missed it!
I think it looks pretty cute- and your kids will love seeing their favorite video game characters in the movie.
The other app you have to have is “My Disney Experience – Walt Disney World.”
It appears to be the next step Disney is taking away from the Mobile Magic app. It includes wait times on rides AND dining!
It'll also provide the times for Fastpass distribution and returns. You'll also find information about the whereabouts of character meet and greets-so you know exactly where to go if you want Cinderella's autograph.
Of course, you'll find detailed maps as well. For full details, check out the article from the Orlando Sentinel here.
Finally, if you're interested in the Fantasyland updates, Disney has announced it will open December 6, 2012. Just in time for those visiting for Christmas!
Of course, there are a few things that won't be open, like the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and some of the Princess Meet and Greet areas at the Princess Fairytale Hall (opening where the old Snow White's Scary Adventures ride used to be).
It'll bring a new whole experience to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World- and Disney will be sure to make it spectacular. With the Cars Land open at Disneyland, and the Fantasyland expansion at Disney World, there are some great reasons to visit a Disney theme park!
