Disney's newest wing open at the Art of Animation resort- The Lion King!

Taking your family on a trip to Disney World? Then, in the spirit of "Hakuna Matata," have no worries! ( I was going to go with "Can you feel the love tonight," but this is a family resort)

Disney's newest wing has now opened at the wonderfully themed Art of Animation, one of Disney's value resorts.

Previously opened at the Art of Animation resort were the Finding Nemo and the Cars wings. There is one more wing that will open- themed as Little Mermaid, on September 15.


I know this will be one of my favorite resorts to book- families will absolutely love it (and can be done easily by emailing me at disneytripexpert@gmail.com!)

Just as the walk leading up to those other wings features nearly every character from Cars and Nemo, you'll find Scar, Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa (no word if he farts as you walk by), Zazu, Mufasa, and of course Simba.

Rates are around $250 a night, but when the Little Mermaid wing opens up, they'll be as low as $98.
