What NOT to do at Disney

Do this, buy this, bring this.....I've posted all kinds of tips and advice about what you should do when trip planning.

However, I am going to have to switch gears and get a little Negative Nancy here. Many people are tempted to do this. I'm about to tell you what NOT to do at Disney. Don't. NO NO NO NO NO. I TOLD YOU NOT TO! DON'T DO IT!

One of the most common questions I get- is it ok for me to just buy my Disney theme park tickets from a ticket reseller? They are so much cheaper!

First off, there's a reason you are asking me. It's because you aren't sure either- how can it be true, to buy park tickets that are sometime half the price?

Usually, there is a catch. It IS too good to be true. What got my wheels turning was this article about a family that was scammed at Disneyland. They bought voided tickets- for $800. There's no way to get that $800 back.

There are times when people have been successful- otherwise, how else would those places stay in business? However, they don't have 100% success rates with people using their park tickets. Disney does. You are guaranteed to get into a Disney theme park-no catch or restrictions- and you can rest easy with your purchase.

Do you really want to take the chance to ruin your vacation by either using all your extra spending money because you had to buy park tickets two times, because the ones you bought at the ticket reseller didn't work and now you have to buy them from Disney? Or maybe you can't afford to even buy the park tickets from Disney, who knows.

My simple advice is this: Always buy your tickets through Disney. These are Disney theme parks, and they are guaranteed to work. There's no risk involved.

If you are going to Disney, then you are going to be spending some cash. There's no way around it. And it will be worth every penny-you will be planning your next trip as soon as you are on your flight home.
