My Disney Dining Reservations

I call Disney Dining at least once a day to make dining reservations for clients so it is always fun when I am calling to make them for myself. I like to call and make reservations other than making them online. I like to talk to the cast members, they always have great opinions on their favorite restaurants and I always have a pleasant experience. I wanted to share with you my dining choices for our upcoming September trip. I would also like to explain how we use the dining plan. We always use the Deluxe Disney Dining plan and we do a character breakfast in the morning and then we do a signature restaurant or a dinner show at night for dinner. This way it is not too much food and we get to eat at all of our favorite places. I think this is the best way to use the deluxe dining plan so that you aren't spending your whole day in restaurants.  So take a look at my favorite places and let me know what you think! As you can see, we have some open places towards the end of the trip and I am open to hearing if anyone has any ideas on where we should try out. As it stands, we have already eaten at all of these places and I would like to try something new. As you can see, my beloved California Grill is not on there, it was originally scheduled to open in September but now I am hearing it will not open until November. :(

  1. We're going to do Akershus, O'hana, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Chef Mickey's, Be Our Guest, and Rainforest Cafe. Booked the Pirate League yesterday. Wanted to do Cinderella's Royal Table, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and/or Zipp Dee Doo Revue but that didn't work out.

    1. Forgot to say that I booked the Pirate League for my son and daughter yesterday. She wants to be a pirate like her brother. I'm looking into some Fort Wilderness activities, Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage, and Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. Have you ever been to those?

Oops! Meant to say Hoop Dee Doo.

  2. Hoop Dee Doo is awesome! I love it!

I have never did the fireworks voyage, my kids are too little for that long trip with no toilet.

We always have the deluxe dining plan so the dessert party doesn't appeal to us because we already get enough food but they both get great reviews.

  4. We're going to Disney World in September as well. We're doing Be Our Guest on Saturday the 21st, the Halloween party on Tuesday, Tusker House and Mickey's Backyard BBQ on Thursday, and Akershus and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival on Friday. If you're going the same week, it looks like we'll be at a couple of the same places at the same time!
